Designers are constantly influenced by their environment and in this age of global warming and economic reccession are very aware of the emphasis put on being "green" and reducing their "carbon footprint" in order for future generations to enjoy the planet we live on.
But is this key issue being exploited by companies in order to entice people in and in turn generate more business?
It's all well and good saying that your being environmentally aware but what do companies actually do to be able to classify themselves as being green? Is it just a case of recycling the waste paper in the office or donating money to forestries in order to grow more?
